Morzine is in the heart of Portes du Soleil, which means you have a choice of 650km pistes, just waiting to be dealt with. With the selection of this best area, there must be something for everyone in this group.
• Avoriaz – freestylers rejoice! This nearby resort has six terrain parks and many towering high-altitude beds to dock your stuff. • Le Pleney – close to Morzine and with great blues spread, challenging reds and steep runs, Le Pleney is perfect for intermediates looking for real challenges. • Les Gets – High powder powder is the name of the game here.
And Still More Exciting
If you like a one or two day break from skiing but can not let yourself leave the snow together, why not go with a snowmobile (solo or with a guide depending on your confidence), ice skating or snowshoes? Even the winter paragliding option. Trust me when I say it is not at all like what you have done before.
Morzine also has an active entertainment and recreational scene on the slopes. With a cinema, indoor swimming pool, ice hockey games every week and spa treatments, there is no chance to get tired of attacking.
